About Me
Professional Background
I am a journalist with over ten years of experience working in television news, investigative reporting, and long-form journalism. Over the course of my career, I have covered a wide range of stories, from daily news reporting to in-depth investigations and documentary projects.
I have a passion for serving organizations that strengthen communities, a commitment reflected in both college and my work beyond communications. My time in college and outside of my profession proves it. While I was a student at California State University, Stanislaus, I served over 1,400 hours as a College Corps Fellow, mostly spent helping the City of Modesto’s Solid Waste Department educate residents on California’s Senate Bill 1383. Now, I serve and advocate for people experiencing depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other mood challenges as an online peer support group facilitator through the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance of California. Service in the public sector is essential to strengthen trust, increase information to the public, and make a difference in the communities I serve.
This website serves as my professional portfolio, created to showcase selected work and experience for editors, producers, and future employers.
